More and more community centers have gotten on the band wagon with distance
learning. Now, in addition to more formal degree programs, online continuing
education coursework is also available. “Continuing education” (CE) courses are
courses that are meant for adults who can take them for either personal,
academic, or work-related reasons. Usually CE course work, while taught at a
college level, does not count for college credit towards a
education degree program.
