can work for you. Many job search sites offer more than just a bulletin board of
job or career openings. You can find sample resumes,
interview tips, and how to evaluate job offers.

You can find online career centers by searching with those terms in Google or
any other search engine. Many career centers focus on a specific industry; this
will help you network with others in the same business as well. Most schools
offer career centers (with both walk-in and online presences). Many career
centers offer the following career related help:

• resume and cover letter writing help
• professional career guidance
• job postings
Many distance learning programs
offer career help with career centers. You’ll find that most major job search
sites such as Monter.com and Careerbuilder.com have much more to offer to the
success of your career than just a list of job openings.
One way to improve your interviewing skills is to anticipate what the
interviewer’s tough questions will be for you. Many times tough questions will
test your fit as an employee or see how you do under pressure. Some sites exist
as “insider’s information” sites where other job applicants who have had
