Anticipating a persuasive essay with an opposing stance helps you build up a
stronger essay for your point of view. For every argument you come across, build
a good defense or offense against it.
Finally, here is one last tip for you. Just because you’re writing an essay with
“argumentative” in the title doesn’t mean that you should take on an
argumentative tone within your essay. Educators and other readers will not be
impressed by your angry tone. If anything it usually undermines your credibility
and can alienate the reader from you (nobody likes being lectured to).
